The Viewsat Platinum FTA Receiver is the latest upgrade from the Viewsat VS2000 receiver. Still has no card to program, no card to unloop, no expensive equipment to program it with and no membership required. They are now up and running with Nagra 2 making them one of the best FTA Satellite receivers available. With Dishnet there are 3 different satellites (2 Mainstream and 1 ethnic programming) so you may require multiple dishes or the Dish 500 to receive all channels on this system.

However you can re-point your single LNB dish and receive channels from any one of the 3 satellites. TV in less than 30 minutes after you have your dish(es) installed and pointed.

This new updated Viewsat receiver comes complete with all the features you expect and much more including a very powerful processor (blazing 160 MHz Conexant processor coupled with 16Mb of SDRAM) which makes this receiver to be one of the fastest boxes in the Free To Air World, Dolby Digital optical out and much more. This is the king of FTA Satellite receivers.

The Viewsat Platinum FTA Satellite Receiver unit is the upgraded Viewsat VS2000 bring you all the features of the VS2000 with great new features like Dolby Digital out.

Each Viewsat FTA Receiver Comes with a remote, and FREE serial cable and DiseQc 4 switch, so you can program your receiver and support up to 4 LNBs.
